So we poor saps at UC have to pay for our internet usage on res through the provider Access+. They've had us on backup servers for weeks so at peak hour we get dialup speeds. Our net goes down without even a second's notice and usually in the middle of something important.

Today they decided to give us all a consolation for being to 'patient' with them. So we got 7 hours of free net usage... nice of them, NOT! The traffic got so bad that it ended up taking 19hrs 55mins 33secs for an 8MB file to DL. Now finally it's back to normal, and we were given this thing called "Ninja Data" where for like a day we can buy 50GB for $50 (normally it's 20GB for $50). I'm feeling slightly ripped off...

Anyway, I doubt anyone still reads this so meh.

The anime is having a simmultanious ending, thus there will only be 9 more episodes :(... *slumps* So all I have left is Naruto and One Piece... well, on the bright side One Piece is only 1/2 way there :D... at 583 chapters :D... But Ace died so that's 1/4 of the awesomeness gone right there. Oh woe is me! Someone comfort me please!

I've just moved into uni 3 days ago and we're still in the middle of O-week. 2 nights of drinking until the early hours at The Lighthouse (they have a pub 5 mins away. Christ! What were they thinking!?) and one Trivia night has caused me to become mentally unbalanced. I'm a light-weight and I played BEERPONG! With Goon! And lost! Plus a game of Flipcup. I am sooo dizzy, I had to opt out early (12:15am) and come home.
Lol, but I'm having a wale of a time. As Dylan Moran observed: You always judge how good a party was by how shit you feel the day after. So in my case it's like, 'Oh it was brilliant: I can't see! You should have come; you'd have at least lost an ear!'
I happen to be on the bottom floor of my residence, so right this moment I can hear the party still raging; that rules out sleeping.
I have met so many new people. I can't remember the names of any of 'em, so I'm doing the whole 'hey, Mate!' ruteen. the weird thing is, they remember mine... I'm freaked out when I meet someone for what I BELIEVE to be the 1st time, introduce myself and they're like, 'yeah, we met on the 1st night.' I'm just thinking, Um, you REMEMBER the 1st night?! Oh! and another thing, every 2nd person you meet is Canadian! I haven't met anyone British, but I HAVE met a lot of Asians, a Mexican, a couple of Americans and... well... that's it.

That's my ramblings for tonight! the keyboard's going out of focus so I'll stop now.

P.S. Caty, if you're reading this I am NOT snubbing you, I just can't get MSN, Yahoo Chat or AIM to work at the moment so we have been separated, my dear! I am pining and I keep on thinking of things to tell you, but for now we'll have to settle for this untill I can get my nerdy neighbor into my room to get chat working!
